I used to wonder how do we people get a collective decision and reach an identical mandate. In this age of electronic and print media, it may be justified in the case of urban population. But how do people in remote villages get to make the same decision unilaterally? Where most of them do not have even electricity!

I have had long thought on this subject ever since the UPA govt came to power with a thumping victory surprising everyone, even the smartest of the exit poll analyst in India. And I have had a similar view on the subject that all our minds are interconnected and ones thought can influence the society as a whole. At times I used to feel guilty of not doing anything concrete for the society. And now, if you too have such guilty feeling, I would say you don’t have to, for your thoughts alone would do great service to the nation!
